Our Mission

Our mission is to bring communities and businesses together. We are a liaison between Healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers in our communities in Middle Georgia.

Vision

We have many End-Stage Renal Failure patients of various ages in our area; who are cared for by friends, families & neighbors. We wish to provide knowledge, resources and support for quality care from caregivers to our patients.

The Beginning

In May of 2015, Dr. Reuben Ellis and Gwen Gordon started talking about a support group for Dialysis Patients and Caregivers. We decided on starting a non-profit organization that could help with lodging when family members would come from out of town to visit patients.

During our time dealing with dialysis patients, We found four common issues that  most families would need resources and other support with:

  • Lodging
  • Food
  • Emotional support
  • Finances (parking, buying food and a place to relax with kids)

Our goal is to provide a facility that addresses all four of those concerns,

This lodge will allow caregivers an opportunity to have breakfast, rest and peace of mind for their families in a safe environment. These family members will not have to be Dialysis patients. We want to start with five families and grow. This not only help these families, but it helps the hospitals with families that must bring kids into an already stressful environment.

We have already started working with businesses in our community to not only relieve tensions but also educate our communities about the different types of situations families face during these trying times in their life’s.
